Re-elect Hydee Feldstein Soto
As the Los Angeles City Attorney, Hydee serves as the general counsel to the City and all of its officials, departments, boards, and commissions, including the Mayor, the Controller, City Council and the more than 250 City agencies such as the airports, port, planning, housing, building and safety, public works, recreation and parks, LADWP, LAPD, LAFD, sanitation and the zoo.
Hydee also is the Chief Prosecutor for the City of Los Angeles, representing the People of the State of California in criminal misdemeanor prosecutions, in civil prosecutions on issues like consumer and environmental protection, nuisance abatement, elder abuse, false advertising, and other violations of state or municipal laws, and in affirmative litigation on behalf of the People or the City.
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Hydee Feldstein Soto has called Los Angeles home for more than 42 years.
After assuming office on December 12, 2022, she has remained focused on the priorities of her job for the people of Los Angeles --
Enforcing our City Charter and the rule of law;
Improving public safety;

Representing the City and the People with transparency and accountability.
